Designed to address the rising demands of IP and UHD live productions, Neuron 4X delivers four times the processing capacity of the previous Neuron generation, enabling broadcasters, production companies and content owners to handle higher stream counts, greater bandwidth, and increasingly complex workflows.

With native 400Gb/s connectivity, Neuron 4X delivers this added capacity into the same compact Neuron form factor, consuming less than twice the power, without compromising the reliability and operational resilience required for mission-critical live production environments.

Neuron 4X expands the current Neuron portfolio rather than replacing it, giving customers the flexibility to choose the platform that best matches their specific requirements. Designed for deployments requiring higher UHD stream counts and greater processing density, Neuron 4X complements the existing 100Gb/s platform, which continues to address a broad range of production and infrastructure needs.

The first application running on the platform is Bridge 4X, an ultra-high-density IP gateway designed for large-scale UHD workflows. View 4X will follow, delivering four times the channel count for high-density multiviewing. Additional applications will be introduced over time, extending the platform across a broader range of media processing and infrastructure needs — letting customers grow their capabilities through software and maximize the value and longevity of their investment as requirements evolve.

Robotics integrated into production workflows

Making its IBC debut, EVS’s T-Motion media production robotics portfolio will be showcased throughout the stand, highlighting how robotic systems can be seamlessly integrated into live production workflows and connected with the wider EVS ecosystem.

The showcase will feature a broad range of systems for smooth, precise camera movement across both indoor and outdoor productions, including the PT Series pan-tilt heads, Televator elevating pedestals, TeleGlide floor and ceiling rail systems, and OmniGlide roving platform, in both wired and wireless configurations. Visitors will also discover Choreon, EVS's unified robotics control platform, for orchestrating complex multi-robot environments through a single operational workflow.

Integrations with the Cerebrum broadcast control and orchestration system will demonstrate how robotic camera movements can be coordinated with other production resources from a single operational environment. X-Fly 3D cable cam will also feature at the stand, illustrating its integration with LiveCeption to bring aerial shots seamlessly into live replay and content creation workflows.

In collaboration with selected technology partners, EVS will bring innovative storytelling approaches to life, including remote-camera teleportation in XR, leveraging EVS's ARCAM 6-axis robotic camera arms and bringing together people, locations, and virtual environments in real time.

Software-defined replay expands the LiveCeption portfolio

At IBC2026, EVS will offer a first look at its software-defined replay server, extending the power of EVS replay into a more flexible deployment model. Designed to complement the existing LiveCeption portfolio, the new software-defined option brings the performance and reliability of EVS replay to a more flexible deployment model, giving broadcasters greater choice in how they deploy and scale replay operations.

EVS will also demonstrate how LSM-VIA extends beyond traditional replay operations, enabling operators to control multiple production workflows from a familiar interface. Deeper integrations across the portfolio allow users to manage replay, highlights creation, camera robotics and other production tasks more seamlessly, helping simplify operations and improve efficiency.

Other innovations will be highlighted across the LiveCeption portfolio, including enhancements to XtraMotion, LSM-VIA Zoom with automatic object tracking, and integrated remote production workflows designed to help teams create, manage, and deliver compelling live content more efficiently, regardless of location.

In sports officiating, the Xeebra showcase will include AI-powered Deblur, which enhances image clarity to support more accurate incident analysis. EVS will also demonstrate real-time ball and player tracking for assisted offside detection, giving officials the insights they need for faster and more confident decisions.

Faster workflows from live moments to published stories

VIA MAP, EVS’s media asset platform, will demonstrate how a unified environment enables live content to move more efficiently from production into editing, publishing and distribution, helping teams turn live moments into stories that can reach audiences instantly.

The IBC demonstrations will highlight cloud, hybrid and on-prem flexible deployments, enhanced newsroom workflows with deeper NRCS and MOS integrations, instant social publishing, and AI-powered workflow efficiency. Integrations with Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve will also show how production and post-production teams can work more closely, in a single environment unifying the content lifecycle, from the initial live moment through to the final story.

For sports organizations, visitors will discover Match Moments, an AI-powered capability that instantly identifies key moments in live sports content, helping teams automatically turn significant moments into highlights and publish them across channels while they are still relevant.

Alongside VIA MAP, EVS will showcase Move, its all-in-a-box ingest, playout and transcoding suite, providing a fast, flexible and cost-effective toolset to help streamline the journey from live production to audience.

Connecting and scaling infrastructure, resources, and workflows

At the centre of the MediaInfra solution showcase, Cerebrum, EVS’s control and orchestration system provides a single operational layer for managing workflows and resources across multi-vendor environments. New tactile operational interfaces and dynamic resource assignment will be demonstrated, enabling resources to be allocated and reallocated as production requirements change.

This gives operators greater flexibility while helping organizations make more efficient use of their infrastructure, supporting the vision of a Dynamic Media Facility where resources can adapt seamlessly to changing production needs.

EVS will also highlight its commitment to interoperability and open standards, both at its own stand and through participation in the AMWA NMOS BCP-008 Minimum Status Reporting demonstrations on the EBU stand (10.D21). EVS is implementing BCP-008 as part of its endpoint monitoring strategy, enabling Cerebrum to present consistent status information across devices from multiple vendors and providing operators with a more unified view of infrastructure health and operational status.

EVS will additionally showcase its Flexible Control Room (FCR) solution, combining Cerebrum orchestration with the Tactiq user interface to provide a more user-centric approach to control room operations and production management.

Finally, EVS will preview the next generation of its Neuron software-defined media processing platform, designed to deliver four times the processing density of the current generation, bringing greater scalability and efficiency to demanding live production environments while maintaining EVS’s reliability.

EVS has announced the launch of Choreon, a next-generation robotics controller for media production and part of its T-Motion solution. Making its debut at NAB 2026, Choreon introduces a unified orchestration layer that brings various robotic systems together under a single intelligent platform, supporting setups that range from compact, single-operator workflows to complex, large-scale environments with multiple robots and operators.

Choreon represents a major shift in how indoor and outdoor multi-robot environments are managed. Where operators previously relied on separate interfaces for each device, the platform enables simultaneous control of multiple robotic systems within a single workflow. This unlocks new creative possibilities, enabling smooth, complex camera movements that are difficult to achieve with traditional, isolated systems. At the same time, it reduces operational complexity, lowers the risk of human error, and improves both speed and overall production quality.

The platform supports T-Motion’s full robotics portfolio, including PTZ cameras, robotic heads, tracks, elevators, rovers, jibs, gyro systems, and the Cablecam for smooth on-air movements, as well as third-party devices for off-air positioning. These can be freely combined within a single environment, eliminating compatibility constraints and streamlining production workflows. Choreon also enables collaborative operation, allowing multiple users to work within the same setup to meet the scale and demands of any production.

Built on a human-led orchestration model, Choreon keeps operators fully in charge of the creative process. AI-assisted features, such as automated framing, path planning, and dynamic motion profiling, enhance precision and consistency while easing the operator’s workload in high-pressure live environments, all without compromising editorial intent.

Key operational parameters, such as speed, acceleration, motion curves, and fine-tuning, are standardized across all connected devices. This allows operators to adjust sensitivity once and maintain the same control “feel” across every system, eliminating discrepancies when switching between devices.

Engineered specifically for live production, Choreon features a high-brightness touchscreen, tactile control surface, and enhanced haptic feedback for fast, intuitive operation. Safety is central to the design, with multi-sensor protection, configurable safe zones, and hardware- and software-based stop mechanisms, ensuring safe deployment in environments where robotic systems operate near crew, talent, and audiences.

As a single integration point for all robotic devices, Choreon simplifies scalability, reduces integration effort, and provides a foundation for increasing automation. By removing traditional interoperability barriers, it empowers organizations to design and evolve production ecosystems tailored to their unique needs.

T-Motion debut: advancing media production robotics

EVS’s new media production robotics solution, developed following the integration of Telemetrics and XD Motion, will be on display for the first time at NAB. 

Bringing together one of the most comprehensive robotic portfolios available to live event and broadcast producers today, T-Motion systems deliver smooth, on-air camera movement across a wide range of indoor and outdoor production environments. 

The NAB showcase will feature the full T-Motion lineup: Arcam six-axis camera arm, OmniGlide roving platform, Telescope robotic jib, TeleGlide track system, Televator elevating pedestal, and XFly cablecam system.  

Additionally, EVS will introduce a unified orchestration layer designed to integrate T-Motion systems seamlessly into its broader live production ecosystem. The approach combines creative flexibility with operational consistency while placing safety at the core of robotic system design and deployment.

Live sports production: speed, creativity, and precision

EVS will demonstrate how its tools accelerate turnaround, improve storytelling, and simplify complex workflows across on-site and remote production.   

Demonstrations of LSM-VIA will show the system’s extended capabilities that go well beyond replay. For example, deeper integration with Cerebrum brings shortcut-based controls and integrated intercom management with push-to-talk functionality directly into the LSM-VIA operator interface. Support for the AMP protocol further sharpens responsiveness in fast-paced environments. 

Creative tools such as XtraMotion leverage GenAI to produce super slow-motion, deblurred, and cinematic replays from standard feeds, while LSM-VIA Zoom enables operators to reframe wide-angle 4K feeds in real time, track action using AI-based object recognition, and quickly generate vertical formats for social and digital platforms. 

For officiating and review, Xeebra demonstrates AI-driven field calibration, Virtual Offside Line and remote review capabilities, further enhanced by XtraMotion's AI deblurring to ensure precise analysis of critical moments. Its mobile companion, Xeebra INSIGHT, extends these tools to coaches, medical staff, and pitchside supervisors, enabling live review, clip creation, and real-time sharing without any reliance on the control room. 

A focus on stadiums and venues will highlight how unified control and scalable infrastructure within stadium and venue environments reduces reliance on multiple standalone systems, simplifies operations, and minimizes operational risk, ultimately improving content delivery for fans and sponsors alike.

Unified content management for live sports and news

EVS will also spotlight the VIA MAP Media Asset Platform, enabling seamless end-to-end workflows across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. 

Supporting fast-turnaround workflows from live ingest to near-instant distribution, VIA MAP is ideally suited to large-scale sports productions, as demonstrated at major international events this year across North America, Milan, and Dakar. It leverages AI-enriched metadata, advanced logging, and seamless integration of third-party data feeds to accelerate content search and retrieval while enhancing archive monetization. 

For news operations, VIA MAP unifies ingest, AI metadata enrichment, asset management, editing, playout and multi-platform distribution from a single interface. Deep integration with newsroom computer systems and NLEs, combined with AI-assisted tools, and flexible cloud deployments, facilitate efficient collaboration and content reuse across broadcast, digital, and social channels.

The MOVE product line will also be on display, offering cost-effective, all-in-a-box ingest, playback, and transcoding, ideal for entertainment, worship, and corporate production environments. MOVE I/O delivers customizable ingest and playback with extensive format support and extended EVS asset management and Avid environments integration. MOVE UP adds file-based ingest, transcoding, automated workflows, and a REST API for third-party control. 

Infrastructure: a practical path to IP 

EVS continues to support broadcasters and media companies in their transition to IP with a pragmatic, low-risk approach. 

At the core of the showcase is Cerebrum, delivering a unified control layer across both SDI and IP environments, consolidating broadcast and router control, IP orchestration, and SDN into a single system. Pre-built UI packages, designed around common broadcast use cases and familiar operator terminology, mean teams can be productive from day one. For Neuron, new live preview capabilities allow engineers to monitor the processed video in the user interfaces of Bridge and Convert in real time.

The Strada routing system adds three new SDI-router replacement packages (160, 256, and 512 SDI I/O), enabling organizations to replace end-of-life routers today while preserving the ability to integrate into IP workflows when ready, all at a competitive price.

For the first time at NAB, EVS will showcase its Flexible Control Room solution, featuring Tactiq, a modular, software‑defined interface that decouples operator workflows from infrastructure, enabling role‑agnostic operations, scalable teams, and open or hybrid environments aligned with real production needs.

EVS is expanding how customers access and scale its technology. The EVS balanced computing model allows organizations to choose the optimal mix of CPU, GPU, FPGA, edge, or cloud resources for each workload. With the eShop, EVS customers can now scale their production infrastructure autonomously as requirements change - increasing agility, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining cost efficiency without compromising performance.

EVS, a leader in live video production technology for the broadcast and new media industry, has announced a major agreement with Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), one of Germany’s key public television networks within the ARD group. 

As part of this agreement, EVS will deliver its MediaCeption^® content management solution to streamline and enhance news production workflows for tagesschau, Germany’s most-watched news program, produced by ARD-aktuell alongside the news magazine tagesthemen, the 24/7 news channel tagesschau24, the homepage tagesschau.de and numerous social-media video-formats. 

With ARD-aktuell’s existing legacy news production system reaching the end of its lifecycle, installation of the robust and unified solution by EVS is already underway and is scheduled to go on air during 2026. 

With the VIA Media Asset Management Platform (VIA MAP) at its core, MediaCeption will provide tagesschau with a complete end-to-end news production environment for managing and editing live and near-live news content. The solution also introduces AI-driven workflows that will further modernize tagesschau’s newsroom operations. 

Certified integrations with leading technology partners, including OpenMedia NRCS, and Viz Mosart Automation, ensure a cohesive workflow, connecting the cross media tagesschau newsroom with industry-standard tools for maximum efficiency.   

Additionally, XS-VIA servers will operate alongside VIA MAP for robust ingest and playout operations. Finally, to cover the complete operation, EVS will also provide nearline storage based on XStore, and enhanced secure disaster recovery workflows with IPDirector, LSM-VIA and XNet-VIA.

This marks the first public showcase of EVS’s wider Flexible Control Room (FCR) solution, introducing an innovative software-defined approach to live production, and empowering broadcasters to scale, automate, and customize their workflows with unprecedented flexibility. 

RTBF, Belgium’s French-speaking public broadcaster will be the first to fully deploy FCR and Tactiq at its new Media Square facility, a state-of-the-art all-IP production hub set to open in 2026. 

Unified control, flexible workstations, scalable live production

With Tactiq, production workspaces are no longer restricted by task-specific hardware. By decoupling the user interface from backend systems, Tactiq abstracts complexity and brings unified control of all key production elements—including video, audio, graphics, and lighting—into one intuitive and modular interface. 

This software-defined approach gives production teams unmatched operational flexibility. Any workstation can be assigned any task, operated via touchscreen or physical controller. Each operator position becomes multifunctional, enhancing collaboration, maximizing team efficiency, and enabling more flexible workflows. 

Designed with interoperability at its core, Tactiq integrates effortlessly with EVS’s live production ecosystem and supports a wide range of third-party tools, ensuring a consistent, unified experience throughout the entire production pipeline. 

Tactiq also supports rapid scalability, making it easy to onboard new operators, reassign responsibilities, or adapt control room layouts to meet evolving live production demands.

Simplified workflows, boosted productivity

Tactiq’s intuitive interface is built for operators of all experience levels, enabling fast onboarding, smooth transitions between roles, and confident production management for both live and pre-recorded shows. 

To further optimize operations, Tactiq introduces rundown-based automation, streamlining repetitive tasks while preserving the ability for manual intervention when needed. This hybrid model reduces operational errors and ensures consistent output, even under pressure in live productions.

The visible layer of a deeper transformation

Tactiq sits on top of a broader transformation: EVS’s Flexible Control Room (FCR). The FCR introduces a software-defined environment that replaces traditional fixed control rooms with agile, reconfigurable workspaces tailored to modern production needs.  

A key component of FCR is the Production Resource Manager, which identifies and manages system resources, operator roles, and equipment configurations during live production. This capability streamlines setup and coordination, making future productions significantly more intuitive and efficient for both engineers and operators.  

Built on open, interoperable technology and supporting both IP and legacy workflows, FCR aligns with EBU’s Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) concept for modern, software-defined production infrastructures.

RTBF leads first full-scale FCR deployment

RTBF, Belgium’s French-speaking public broadcaster, is pioneering this new approach. Following the success of their award-winning Control Room 42 initiative, RTBF partnered with EVS to develop and deploy the first full-scale FCR at its upcoming Media Square facility, a state-of-the-art all-IP production hub set to open in 2026. 

This facility will support hundreds of trained users, all operating within a fully software-defined, reconfigurable environment designed around flexibility and future-proof performance.

As part of this multi-million euro agreement, which will contribute significantly to EVS’s Big Event Rental (BER) segment revenues in 2026, the company will provide a comprehensive turnkey solution encompassing broadcast and media equipment, as well as services to support live replay operations, logging, asset management and file content distribution.

The deployment will leverage EVS’s cutting-edge live production and replay solution LiveCeption®, alongside its advanced live production asset management solution MediaCeption®, as well as the VIA MAP platform, ensuring seamless and high-quality coverage across the landmark event.

This agreement further strengthens EVS’s position as a trusted technology partner for premium live sports productions on a global scale.

The new facility, strategically located within Denver's thriving Mountain Media Center, will serve as a pivotal hub for EVS's North American activities. This prime location was carefully selected to ensure the company can deliver world-class service and support to its growing customer base across the continent. Beyond its role as a customer service center, the Rocky Mountain hub will also feature an industry-leading training facility, providing invaluable opportunities for EVS operators, channel partners, customers, and staff to deepen their expertise in EVS solutions and workflows.

Replay operators can zoom into a camera feed using simple touch gestures on a touchscreen interface, capturing every crucial detail of an action effortlessly, and with precision.

Additionally, keyframes can be added within a zoom sequence, keeping the focus locked on shifting focal points and ensuring critical moments remain in clear view.

Designed for real-time operation, Zoom maintains high-image quality by cropping a 4K input to deliver a sharp 1080p output, seamlessly integrating into any replay sequence. It is fully compatible with UHD cameras, including super motion cameras with up to 4 phases.  It also supports both SDI and SMPTE ST-2110 video standards, making it adaptable to various production environments. Clips can be stored with keyframes as metadata, allowing for effortless reuse and adjustments in future edits, or easily exported to external systems.
